Mother’s Day celebration Regarding the Mother’s Day celebration committee, in replacement of the vice chairman as part of the committee due to his distance location, the chairman volunteered to fill-in the gap in place of the vice-chairman. Mr Patrick Ezeburo said the vice chairman can still be part of the team and report be passed to him as well. Chief Kingsley advice the head of the committee should be assigned to someone else instead of the chairman while he is still part of the committee. Hon Lucas requested for more hands to be part of the committee, the member respond that lucas should volunteer himself.
Barbeque celebration The chairman spoke about the last Barbeque party, that he wants the team to improve in their various task and urge others that want to join the team, that they are welcome to be part of it. Mr Patrick Oyebamiji respond about other members not being present, he suggested that the information my being part of the team should be introduced when others are present.
AGENDA Mother’s Day celebration The chairman asked if the Mother’s Day should be done the way it was last year, or we celebrate it at the restaurant due to expenses because the food was not enough at last year’s Mother’s Day. With this, if we are going to celebrate it like last year, then we should add more to whatever the plan will be. Mr Tony obi asked, how much is more? Is it 400-500 more or changing the caterer. Hon Lucas made suggested option of picnic.
Mr Godfrey, talked about renting hall just like last year which was good instead of restaurant. Mr lucas said if we will be making used of hall, there should be more games and activities to the program. The chairman responds if they want more games/activities in the program, the committee will be the one to agree towards the suggestion. Chief Kingsley, talked about the food and also said he has a caterer that is well equipped, if the house insists in using a caterer, he can communicate with the woman on time for proper negotiation. Mr Patric Oyebamiji concur to the prompt negotiation with the caterer. The chairman agreed in the use of a hall and also there was a joke made by members saying they want to take the Mother’s Day celebration to Antwerpen. Choosing of the date for the Mother’s Day celebration was suggested to be between 23rd/ 30th of May, or 1st Saturday of June. Mr Tony Obi raised the issue of drink that was kept in his care, has been properly handed over and if they want to know about the drinks, they should contact Mr Jonny Olivier because he is with the list. The Barbeque dated was fixed to be held on 22nd of August, 2026.
Electronic transfer/bank issues The chairman asked if the members agreed on electronic payment, they all respond yes. He also said that should not stop those that have cash not to bring it for payment. For the banking issues, the chairman said he doesn’t want to be involve with the bank card and code. He suggested someone else can be in possession of the bank card and another person be in possession of the code. With this, the members agreed on the suggestion.
GENERAL Mr. Patrick Oyebamiji inform the house about the absent of Mr Valentine, saying he has been absent for three consecutive time, that the executive should look into it by writing him. Chief Kingsley and some members respond it is too early to write.
Finance Mr Godfrey informed the members that, all the accounts is published on the website. While Mr Patrick Ezebuiro pointed out the account of 2024 which needs to be explained by the past financial secretary and also to be discussed in the next meet. The total money received from the meeting is 910 euros.
Cash Breakdown: 380 euros was cash by hand while 530 euros was transferred to the account.
From the 380 euros, 50 euros was giving to the host wife as expenses
Total money given to the treasurer was 330 euros after deduction of expenses.
The amount generated in February 2026, is 530 euros plus 330 euros which amount to total of 860 euros after expenses.
Motion of Adjournment/ Closing Prayer
Mr Patrick Oyebamiji and Godfrey Oghuma adjourned the meeting. While the closing prayer was said by the vice chairman Pastor Chidi. The next meeting to be hosted by Hon Segun Okunomo
